Here at The Modern Day Wife, we had the opportunity to interview Ydaiber Orozco, the founder of Rekindle Your Light. Follow along to find out more!
What inspired you to start your own business, and how has that initial inspiration evolved as your company has grown?
In the chaos of 2020, feeling trapped and overwhelmed, I stumbled upon a friend's glowing Instagram post. Curious, I delved into what he credited for his newfound radiance: The Emotion Code.
What started as a quest to shed my own emotional baggage turned into a lifeline when shortly after, I faced the loss of my dad. The tools I found helped me navigate the storm of grief with newfound resilience. That opened the door to my spiritual awakening, a journey brimming with highs, lows, and heaps of personal growth. What began with a certification as an Emotion Code Practitioner evolved into a deep dive into the realms of Dharma Coaching and Human Design reading. Now, I'm passionate about empowering fellow creatives and soul-seekers to conquer self-doubt, align with their purpose, and embrace their authentic selves—free from the shackles of comparison and hesitation.
What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced as an entrepreneur, and how have you overcome them?
As we journey through life, both personally and professionally, we inevitably encounter challenges that push us to evolve. The key lies in taking aligned action and maintaining a clear understanding of our intentions and motivations. In moments of doubt, I reflect on how far I've come and trust in the inherent goodness of the path ahead. After all, every twist and turn ultimately leads us to where we're meant to be.
Can you share a pivotal moment or decision that significantly impacted the trajectory of your business?
During an in-person retreat, amidst what was supposed to be a serene meditation session, something unexpected happened. Instead of sitting still, I found myself compelled to grab a pen and jot down the flood of thoughts rushing through my mind. In that moment, enveloped by a calming blue light, I sensed a shift within me—my throat chakra was ablaze with energy. It dawned on me: I needed to speak up. I needed to step into a role of leadership, using my voice to guide and inspire others. And so, in that transformative moment, "Rekindle Your Light: the Podcast" was born.
In today's rapidly changing market landscape, how do you stay innovative and adaptable to ensure your business remains competitive?
In today's fast-paced market, my deliberate, slow-burn approach intertwines with my roles as an actor, voice-over artist, Emotion Code practitioner, Human Design reader, and Dharma coach. This multifaceted background underscores the importance of constantly challenging and showcasing my creativity while ensuring everything aligns with my true self.
Rather than chasing trends, I prioritize reflection and draw wisdom from my experiences. Whether crafting podcast scripts or diving into improv classes, each endeavor fuels personal growth and professional innovation.
Change isn't feared but embraced as an opportunity for growth. Applying principles of self-alignment, I remain true to myself amidst external pressures.
Despite my business's youth, I've cultivated resilience and creativity. Through stillness, creativity, and adaptability, I've built a sustainable venture that harmonizes with my passions, staying true to who I am.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting their own journey?
