Interviewing Victoria Nguyen of CEO Active
Here at MDW, we had the lovely chance to get in touch with CEO Active. Read below for the inspiring Q&A we had with her.
What inspired you to start your own business, and how has that initial inspiration evolved as your company has grown?
Growing up, entrepreneurship was a big part of my life. My parents owned their own business, and from a young age, they involved me and my siblings in their work. This exposure instilled in me not just a strong work ethic but also a passion for entrepreneurship. It's something that's been in my blood since birth. As I started my own business, I drew a lot from those early experiences. Over time, as my company has grown, my initial inspiration to build something of my own has evolved. It's now about creating a legacy and continuously pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve. Every step of this journey has been about growth, learning, and taking things one step at a time, much like I saw in my family's approach to their business.
What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced as an entrepreneur, and how have you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges I've faced as an entrepreneur is navigating the unknown. Entrepreneurship often involves making decisions and taking risks without a clear view of the outcome. Embracing this uncertainty has been both a challenge and a crucial part of my growth. Each decision carries potential risks, but also opportunities for significant rewards. Learning to trust my instincts and make bold choices, even when the path isn’t clear, has been essential. This approach has not only driven the success of my business but has also been incredibly rewarding personally, as it's taught me a lot about resilience and adaptability.
Can you share a pivotal moment or decision that significantly impacted the trajectory of your business?
One moment that really opened my eyes was our first wellness event for CEO Active. I was honestly a bit nervous about how it would turn out, but it ended up being a massive success. Seeing everyone show up, feeling the support, and watching them share their experiences on social media was just incredible. It really hit home how powerful these events are for building a community. This event didn't just help spread the word about our brand; it showed me how bringing people together can create a loyal and supportive community around what we're doing. Since then, I've been all about creating more events that connect with our community on that level. It’s been a game changer for us.
In today's rapidly changing market landscape, how do you stay innovative and adaptable to ensure your business remains competitive?
In today’s market, it’s all about staying on top of things. At CEO Active, we keep our social media strong, posting content that’s easy for our audience to engage with. This helps us keep up with what our community want and need, keeping our brand fresh and aligned with the latest trends.
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting their own journey?
My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to remember that starting your own business is like running a marathon, not a sprint. The beginning can be tough, but it's important to keep a long-term perspective. Consistency is key. If you stay dedicated and persistent, you’ll find the journey deeply rewarding. It’s all about patience, perseverance, and pushing forward, even when things get challenging.
