What inspired you to start your own business, and how has that initial inspiration evolved as your company has grown?

Since childhood, I have always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I had a vision for what I wanted to create with my skincare products and spa, and I have been building on that for five years! Over time, I believe it's important to move with trends that inspire you while also staying true to the vision you believe in.

What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced as an entrepreneur, and how have you overcome them?

Being an entrepreneur is constantly riding the waves of challenges. I have dealt with small challenges, such as scheduling conflicts and supply chain delays. I have also faced huge challenges, like navigating a global pandemic while simultaneously managing newborn responsibilities and business ownership. At the end of the day, regardless of the challenge's size, you must continue to drive your business forward. It takes a strong ability to view situations through a wide lens and utilize your skills and knowledge to find the best resolution.

Can you share a pivotal moment or decision that significantly impacted the trajectory of your business?

Deciding to begin pitching my products to national retailers was a significant decision for me. Building something successful and then embarking on an entirely new journey from the bottom up can be daunting. However, it has been the best decision I've ever made. I am meeting numerous people and placing my product into the hands of individuals and companies where it can positively impact many people's skin and lives. Sometimes, you just have to take the leap!

In today's rapidly changing market landscape, how do you stay innovative and adaptable to ensure your business remains competitive?

I believe it's crucial to stay true to who you are and maintain consistency in the product you're selling. It's easy to get swept up in trends, but the businesses that succeed the most are those that offer consistency and reliable products and practices for their consumers.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting their own journey?

Prepare to fail. You will fail, learn, try again, fail again, and try repeatedly. It comes with the territory. You will waste money, make mistakes, and discover things the hard way. If you persist and learn from all the lessons, you will succeed.
